Když jsem psal článek pro web lovkapra.com o novém světovém rekordu nemohl sem vědět že za měsíc bude rekord překonán. Takže začneme pozvolna, nejdříve původní článek…
Po otevření francouzského jezera „MAIN LAKE“ na jaře 2002 bylo předpovídáno několik dobrých let pro ryby. Neuvěřitelný váhový zisk některých ryb byl přímo až neuvěřitelný. Největší kapr chycený v tomto období vážil úctyhodných 29,5 kg a přibral během jednoho roku 4,5 kg.
V roce 2003 bylo chyceno několik obrovských naháčů, mezi nimi také ryba, která ještě nikdy nebyla chycena a vážila 25 kg, dále 23,5 a 24 kg.
Od roku 2004 stoupala hmotnost jednotlivých kaprů stále výš a výš, úživnost revíru byla fantastická. V tomto roce byla chycena velmi známá ryba nazývaná „Jizvák“, která vážila 32 kg, ale její čas měl teprve přijít. Nebyl to obyčejný rok, jelikož se podařilo chytnout ještě dalšího kapra zvaného jako „Dijon Arse“, který vážil 31,7 kg.
Rok 2005 znamenal překonání světového rekordu, „Jizvák“ opět udeřil a tentokrát ve váze 37,63 kg. Chytil ho anglický kaprař Nick Massey. Po zbytek roku nebylo po „Jizvákovi“ ani vidu ani slechu…

Období roku 2006 bylo bohaté na velmi těžké úlovky, na úlovky mladých ryb, ale i také na znovu překonání světového rekordu „Jizvákem“. Tentokrát se ručička váhy zastavila na neuvěřitelných 38,02 kg. Šťastným lovcem byl Pete Fitzsimmons. Tento rok byla slovena bílá ryba, převážně cejn, takže kapříci nebudou mít potravní konkurenci a mohou stále růst a růst. Nabízí se tedy otázka, kdy bude překonána 40 kg hranice? A bude to „Jizvák“ a jezero „MAIN LAKE“? …
Takže to by byla první část. Sice to sem nepatří ale měl bych zmínit úlovek světového rekordu v šupináčích. Byl chycen na vodě známé jako Marry Joe and See.Kapra p. Stein, letos byl chycen 4x a jeho váha činí 38,150g .
